The Education Review Office (ERO) reviews
the performance of schools in New Zealand. Generally a
review is conducted every three years over a period of 3 or
4 days. As a result any review is only a snap shot of a
school's performance. The review will also reflect
Government, Ministry of Education or ERO policy of the day,
this often makes it difficult to compare schools with any
degree of accuracy. We recommend considering ERO reviews as
part of your decision making, but also that you talk to
current parents of the school if possible and to school
staff. Our school staff are always happy to share what is
happening at our school with you.
