Education Outside the Classroom

Manning Intermediate has a camping programme, which involves classes with year 7 students. The school owns a number of quality tents which provide accommodation for staff and students while on camp. We have a wide range of other resources available to us.

Ski Trip. All students are invited to attend an optional ski day at Porters Pass.

Year 8 Team Building. The year 8 classes have a day at Blue Skies developing team skills.

All class teachers look for opportunities to link student learning to real life situations. This may include trips out of the school or people with special skills coming into the school.
